Hey everyone! How is your week going? I can't believe we are already half way through the week. How has your diet been this week and your fitness level? I added, at the bottom of the page, Sheeba Cook's walking challenge. I know it's been a little snowy and cold but it's so much easier when we walk with friends. Also, to the left I have added some ideas of events and/or ideas of fitness. By this time, you should have come up with a program that you feel comfortable with. Comment on the following:
1. What tactic are you taking to help change your lifesyle?
2. What has worked for you this week so far?
3. What has not worked for you?
4. How are you feeling? On track, confused, overwhelmed or motivated?

ReplyDelete1. I am following weight watchers and working out
2. Journaling; journaling my points, my nutrition ie...vegies/protien etc..., and journaling my goals and prayers
3. not journaling
4. I have wavered back an for so far. I have been stuck at my weight now for over 3 1/2 weeks but I broke it TODAY! Yea! Journaling has helped me stay on track and notice what I am lacking in my diet, ie. veggies, and keeps me motivated to eat right. Of course prayer never hurts. hahahaha

ReplyDeleteFor those of you curious about the "diabetic diet"/Food Mover the break down is as follows: 1 protein 75 calories; 1 starch 80 calories; 1 dairy 90 calories; 1 vegetable 25 calories; 1 fruit 60 calories; 1 fat 45 calories; 1 extra 30 calories. If you are on a 1400 calorie diet, you get 5 starches, 5 proteins, 5 vegetables, 3 fruits; 3 fats; 2 dairy; and one extra.
